A Successful Dock Leveller Installation By Amber Doors

The Amber Doors team rolled into action recently as they carried out a full installation for a brand new dock leveller, together with chequer plate and polyurethane faced dock bumpers for an extension to a customer’s warehouse in Wincanton.  Our experienced team ensured that the installation was carried out quickly and efficiently, therefore keeping the amount of downtime for the customer to an absolute minimum.

Our team arranged for the dock leveller to be delivered to the customer’s premises using a Hi-Ab crane mounted truck.  This meant that it could be lowered directly into the pre-formed pit from the Hi-Ab, therefore reducing the risk of damage to the dock leveller by transporting it unnecessarily.

The swing lip dock leveller provides a safe and reliable operation for users.  The two hydraulic cylinders ensure that the operation of the dock leveller remains safe, well balanced and reliable at all times.  The dock leveller is also equipped with an automatic emergency-stop valves as a key safety feature.

Robust Hinged Lip

The Amber Doors hydraulic swing lip leveller also features an open design, with hinge points close to one another.  This assists in preventing the accumulation of dirt, such as wood shavings, which may hinder future use.

Long Lasting Design

The dock leveller consists of a high-quality running plate, 6/8 or 8/10 mm thick, with a standard rated load of 60 kN to withstand heavy goods and transport equipment.
